About Kinn Hotel – and our facilities

Kinn Hotel is located just outside Florø town centre and offers different types of rooms at affordable prices. All our rooms are equipped with cable TV and free WiFi. In the basement our guests can be active playing snooker, and a fitness room will be built in the future.

If you want to wash clothes you have access to a washing machine and tumble dryer. People in long-term accommodation have access to a communal kitchen and living room/lounge.

We have function rooms that are suitable for occasions such as baptisms, confirmations and birthday parties.

A bit about the history of the hotel

Kinn Hotel, on Havrenesveien in Florø, has a long history in the seaside town. It started out as a hostel and motel and was called Åsgården until 2003. There has been a hotel here since 2004. First as the Florø Hotel from 2004 to 2009, then as a conference hotel under the name Efinor.

In the autumn of 2017 the hotel changed owners and direction – and the hotel was renamed Kinn Hotel. We have redecorated all 55 rooms and the rest of the building on both the inside and outside. The rooms are of hotel standard and Kinn Hotel is aimed at tourists and business travellers.

Activities in Florø

Florø is a pleasant little seaside town, stretching from the glacier to the east to the sea to the west. Florø is a hub with well-established boat routes and an airport that can take you to Bergen or Oslo within 1 hour.

Florø has a beautiful archipelago, with boat routes to the surrounding islands. Or we can offer nice tours of the town centre or the mountains, and a lot of exciting cultural experiences such as Kinn church, rock carvings, Svanøy Manor, war memorials, veteran boats and old lighthouses.

The seaside town has regular events such as the Kinnaspelet cultural festival, the Våt moro water sports festival and the Himmel og Hav coastal festival.  We recommend that guests to Florø visit the Coastal Museum and the Havhesten swimming pool. On the Fjordkysten site you will find an overview of a number of nearby attractions.
